FEDORA's Activities

FEDORA and Opera Dinners came together on 13 June at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden for a special evening dedicated to the next generation of artistic talent, combining fine dining with live performances by young, emerging artists and a tombola whose proceeds support the artists and projects being championed.

Founded more than a decade ago by Felix Elkmann, Opera Dinners was built on a simple conviction: that the performing arts are at their most powerful when they bring people together. Its purpose is twofold: to let guests experience artistic excellence up close, and to build a community that actively helps secure its future, where guests are participants rather than spectators.

Each Opera Dinner is an intimate gathering combining fine dining with live performances by emerging artists, often with a tombola whose proceeds go directly to the talent being supported. Over the years it has grown into a platform for dialogue, friendship, and philanthropy that makes a tangible difference for creativity and artistic innovation.

This is what makes the collaboration with FEDORA so natural. A driving force for innovation in opera and dance across Europe, FEDORA shares a common ambition with Opera Dinners: to ensure the performing arts continue to flourish for future generations, so that every contribution becomes real opportunity for the artists who will shape what comes next.
